i presume you mean Zinsser B-I-N primer? The thinner for that is methylated spirits which should dissolve it. Trouble is meths is what is called a "sharp" solvent and will dissolve lots of other things as well - possibly your window frame coating. Too late to say be more careful about covering ever...

Try using a new, sharp scraper blade and use a slicing action with the blade held at a low angle to stop it digging in. Failing that use stripper

oil gloss is best the trouble is they yellow mironal is a good one painted a room 5 years ago and its still white today.

The washing machine sounds good to me ,i bag them and tape, them sticky label with colour,written on.
